You could see how little our bowl win meant to Terry Smith. He didn’t give a sh|t. Neither did the players.
What I like is down south we turn off B10 football and beat up anyone not watching the SEC.

That was a horrible defensive effort by USC on the last play. Not sure we can blame Lynn or not.
yeah, USC lost to TCU in OT. But I do give them credit for this TD -- heck of a play.
So, did Lynn decide not to coach in the Alamo Bowl or was he asked/told not to coach due to his pending job with PSU?
It will get a big better in 2026 with the SEC finally moving to 9 conference games. That will largely replace 15-16 wins by SEC teams with a collective 8 wins/8 losses and lessen how inflated the records will look.

Not really.
Interesting how so many PS fans have become conference honks. That is usually left to fans of teams like South Carolina or Rutgers. Guess that is what happens when you are relegated to the kids table.
Meh.....10 years ago I would have agreed completely, but with opt outs now being the norm, the teams on the field in bowl games bear little resemblance to the team that played the regular season.
I think I read Illinois had 2 opt outs, Tennessee 11.
What does that game look like with both teams at full strength? Who knows.....
Totally overrated conference. Now, there will be endless excuses about opt outs and so on, but this equally applies to all the teams. Watching Illinois spank Tennessee was hilarious.
