I was late getting started, but I was able to collect all rankings up until now. Please let me know if I have left anything out. I have chosen Intermat for the rankings.

Joey Olivieri has maintained his #6 ranking. I think we now know how to prevent the ranking slide.

File updated as of 2/03.2026. Amazingly, no one slipped in ranking and Cotton climbed a notch. Olivieri continues to hold his #6 ranking, the most consistent among all Rutgers wrestlers.

Most consistent by not even wrestling.. hopefully it doesn’t start a new meta of wrestling even fewer matches/just make it to nationals healthy.

So 5 guys have improved in the rankings and 5 have gone down, and if we’re being truthful Clark and SCW should never have been ranked as high as they were in the preseason.

Maybe I am reading the chart wrong. Looks like 4 improved, 5 declined, and one stayed the same.

The biggest movers up seem to be Smith from unranked to # 24 and Barbosa from # 31 to # 18.

The biggest movers down seem to be Shawver from # 9 to # 25 and Pinto from # 7 to # 20.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

What happens is returning wrestlers are usually ranked higher then they should be at the start of the season bc the previous season’s sr graduated and the new seasons freshmans haven’t been properly ranked yet.

SCW was round of 16 last year he was fairly ranked Clark was way overranked

Pinto is getting healthy at the right time. Shawver has showed he can get over the hump already.. Cotton could make some noise. Olivieri in good shape. Rutgers has other guys that could win a match or even two . The potential is there to finish strong but another low 20s or mid 30s finish could happen too. Excited to see how they all compete at Big10s!
