Hi Tarboy, did you not read the article that I posted about Noelle. Here is what CB said about her. "In Noelle, we are adding impactful length and athleticism to our front court," said Banghart. "An elite rebounder and shot blocker, Noelle will add immense value to our interior." So best on this fact from CB, Noelle is going to help with the rebounding and interior defense problem. Also, EA can shot the heck out of the ball if CB will let her play. I think some of yall have forgotten that EA was the one that was keeping us in the game against UCLA and Texas. LG struggled against the top 5 teams in the country to be honest. CB must find a way to let her play. When she is in the game she does penetrate and does have a midrange game. Also, CT's numbers were better offensively when EA plays.

South Carolina, just opened a can of whoop *** on 10AC. Couldn't happen to a "better" fan base.

No doubt, from watching her video's Noelle defensive game and rebounding is far above her offensive game at this point. With her working out with the team this season, the strides that she will make will be beneficial to her going into next season. In response to CT she has improved tremendously from last season, it's great since she has suffer through so much adversity since her junior year in HS. The issue with EA at times has been her defense which is lacking on foot speed and rotation.

Remember SC is playing without one of the best players for the entire year. If she was playing those games that they lost might not have happened. To beat Tennessee like that is making a statement. I have never seen them get beat like that. I bet you that their fans are livid right now. They are probably saying that coach needs to be fired. Pat Summit is rolling in her gave right now.

They were also down McDaniel- their 2nd string PG. SC had 20 turnovers- if they had her- they cut that number down and win by 50+

A good night:
-#21 Bama loses a Q3 game to 8-10 (1-8) Texas A&M
-#19 Tennessee loses by 43 to South Carolina
-#14 TCU loses to an unranked Colorado team and falls to 3rd in the Big 12. All big 12 teams have at least 3 losses in conference except for Baylor.

and a good week:
-#16 Kentucky falls to Vandy
-#13 Ole Miss falls to Bama

those are 5 teams of about 12 or 13 vying for the last 6 or so host spots.

Duke announces Skinner and Donovan are out for the year. That means they’ll have a 7-man rotation the rest of the way. They’re hot- one of the hottest in the country. Fournier, Jackson, Nelson, and Mair play 35-40 each night. One injury away from danger zone- particularly at G. They’ll be off Thursday and will have a week to prepare for us

I agree we some run, run, run every chance they we get when we play them and wear them down with our depth. That is what all the teams who are left to play them so do. We shall see.

Also, of note for Sunday..... despite Duke having an additional 2 home games after ours- it is the Senior Day and Alumni Day. Neither are weekend games, but just seems strange to not have SR day before their final home game.

Let's spoil SR day and Alumni Day.

I hope CB and Staff will take your suggestion on how to beat Duke. Hopefully they learned from the ND game that is all you have to do because they sure did not do thing against ND. They only had to stop or slow down HH and Proper and they did not do that.

#5 Vanderbilt loses to UGA today 76-74.

SC beat LSU yesterday 79-72 in an extremely entertaining game.

Pitt program and head coach Tory Verdi is being sued by 6 former players for abusive practice, denial of medical care and Title IX violations.

He was hired in 2023-24 so there are all players who left after the last two seasons. Three who left after 2023-24 staying at Pitt for one year, the other 3 after 2024-25 , with one lasting two years and the other 2 after just one season. (one was dismissed from the team, she alleges, in retaliation for being a whistle blower.)

The Pitt program says they will vigorously defend against the lawsuit but you have to assume Verdi's days are numbered. He is also 29-62 his three years and getting worse.

I hope these women are heard and get some measure of justice if warranted.

UVA up 2 with 12 seconds left...

2 seconds left... ville ball..

missed three, UVA wins!

That probably clinches the ACC reg season title/#1 seed for dook, though. they would have to lose to Clem today on the road, FSU at home (not going to happen) and UNC on the road.

And even if we win out, Louisville loses out, we would tie Louisville in the standings, but ville has clinched the tiebreak.

It also means that UVA (11-5) is still alive for the double-bye, which means our win today (12-4) did not clinch the double-bye. UNC @ UVA on Thursday will be for us to clinch the double-bye. (Or if NCSU loses to 'cuse today we clinch today)

Of course the larger goal is a NCAAT home series, so we need to beat UVA anyway... they deserve some serious retribution for that bad loss last season.

CB is 1-2 against UVA since Coach Mox took over… last year we were without AU though. Gonna be a tough, tough game on the road. We lost by 15 the last time we played in CVille.

We were without Ustby and Kelly; Townsend started and played 33 min. Grant 36. Donarski 38. Had to Play Barker some to give them rest as ball handlers.

UVA shot 48% from three.

Of course we could be playing without Kelly again. And possibly Nivar, but I suspect she is fine.

dook winning the ACC reg season is going to suck. But if they had won undefeated it would have sucked more. Thanks Tigers!

Clemson & UVA were both on the bubble (last 4 in according to Creme) Big wins for both of em'.

BTW, Creme has dropped NCSU down to an 8 seed. Would hypothetically play Texas at their house... if they could get by Audi Crooks and Iowa St in the 8v9 game.

Refs did their best to help Duke down the stretch with a couple of bad calls vs Clemson. The foul call on the steal was crazy bad,

The refs treat Kara Lawson like she’s Kim Mulkey or Dawn Staley. I hope we at least get a fair whistle next Sunday unlike the travesty in Cameron.

Wow, that is very surprising that Clemson could not get calls in their own gym. I would not compare the referees call to Kim M or Dawn Staley. There are times when SC does not get the calls to go their way. A better comparison would be Kara getting the same treatment as Coach K. He also got the calls to go his way and he stilled complain and wined when he didn't. The game at VA is going to be a tough one. The last time we play there, we got beat by at least 14 points. I think holding IN or NH out today to give their bodies rest was a good call by CB and Staff. Also, it gave the other players who hardly ever play a chance to play a lot of minutes and they did shine today. This should help with their confidence moving forward. I hope LG and NB have a great game at VA since they are from the state of VA. This is another must win game. I is going to be tough. VA win today at Louisville is going to really boost their confidence up when we play them. I hope we play to our standard. We cannot have a slow start out of the gates for this game. Go Heels!

That Uva just got a lot tougher!
Certainly not taking anything away from UVA - that game is going to be a rock fight... but when I was watching the Louisville UVA game, they did say that Louisville's leading scorer left in the first quarter and didn't come back. I didn't watch the entire game, so not sure if she came back or not... but just adding some context, too.
