The problem / question / concern that we have is this. When was the last time a CB team beat VA at VA? Now since VA just beat Louisville at Louisville, their confidence is now is off the chain. K. Johnson is going to be a problem at the point guard position. If RK is now ready to go that could be a major factor in the outcome of the game. It is going to be a tough one no doubt. This is another must win game. We have to come out the gate fast, rebound the ball on both ends of the floor, play to our standard. Work inside out, make layups and FT's. Good ball movement on the offensive end. Get our shooters in the game, etc. We can beat them if we play the right way and have no lapses in coaching when the game is tight. Go Heels
This is a game which they must play great team defense, and win the scoring battle in the paint. If they can have a decent game offensive wise it should push them over the finish line. One thing which I enjoyed was what CB did during the Pitt. game was holding IN and NH out, it gave us a glance of what this team can be next season with the addition of Kate Harping. Regina Kelly is still questionable for the game based upon what is being said, let's hope she is able to contribute.
Playing great team defense has always been Coach CB's calling card. I expect and hope
we bring that full force plus vs UVA.
I expect us to play super hard in this game. The young players on this team are coming of age now.
It is time to bring the A++ game. It is their team now. And it has potential greatness written all over it.

Have to win tomorrow or make a deep run in the tournament first and foremost. Great news for hosting- Michigan blows out Maryland 87-69. Maryland will finish with just an 11-7 BIG record and just 7 combined Q1/Q2 wins and an overall record of 23-7. 16 of their 23 total wins are vs Q3 and Q4 teams.
What a wonderful story and picture. At the end of the day, athletes are still human beings. People should not take shots at them, get mad at them, or degrade them no matter what team they play for. These women are someone's daughters, children, mom's, etc., and I think people need to realize and remember this.

Wow, In this day and age and with all the NIL money, and all the money CC generated for this university and they cannot avoid AC in their arena. That is a bunch of cramp. The NCAAT committee should be ashamed of themselves having them to host knowing good and gum dong well that is the only D1 arena that does not have AC in it. The players and teams deserve better.

And then they adjudicate an unobserved F1 flagrant 20 seconds of clock after it occurred (42 seconds left), giving Iowa 2 shots and the ball with 21 seconds left. unbelievable. Did not put the time back on the clock. seems very unfair.

Yeah, the push was to the chest not the throat and you could see the Iowa player laughing about how she fooled the refs.
Iowa's star player with 4 fouls absolutely decks and injures UVA player. Looked like a hockey check but TV camera we saw only caught the end of the decking. Apparently we are not getting a replay nor a review?
