How many wins do you think in conference? I don’t see many.Much better second 4 minutes. This team will struggle to score in the half court this season, but we forced some turnovers and got some runouts to turn it around.
Something like 4 I’d guess. How many wins do you think in conference? I don’t see many.
What I’d like to know from somebody like you, whose opinion I respect about PSU basketball, is if you think that this program under the current head coach has any chance to gain any traction? It just seems like after every season, the whole roster departs and there’s never any continuity from one season to the next.Something like 4 I’d guess.
And each year seems to get worse. What I’d like to know from somebody like you, whose opinion I respect about PSU basketball, is if you think that this program under the current head coach has any chance to gain any traction? Obviously, this is going to be another wretched season under this coach, especially in the Big 10, and I’m very skeptical that he’ll ever make this program competitive.
The second team definitely looked better than the first team. There really is a lack of any kind of half court offense….just dribble around and try to drive or shoot a three.Meanwhile, the Next 5 have 5 assists and 9 buckets (by 4 of those players).
Is Rhoades trying to punt the season so we can get a higher draft pick next year?
It seems the wait will be going on for years to come when it comes to Penn State basketball. Can we reinstate the wait?

There is certainly a chance to gain traction, but the next 8-9 months will likely determine it. We get someone like Dylan Mingo to follow his brother here next year and it could be a game changer. We put together a 14-18 season, lose some contributors to the portal, and have no real difference makers coming in, and it’s time to think about turning the page. What I’d like to know from somebody like you, whose opinion I respect about PSU basketball, is if you think that this program under the current head coach has any chance to gain any traction? Unfortunately we’re getting beat by a team of a lot of freshmen from Fairfield…that doesn’t bode well for the future of this group. There is certainly a chance to gain traction, but the next 8-9 months will likely determine it. Everyone has laughed at him (and laughed at my for supporting what he’s doing), but I’ve really like what Shrewsberry has done at ND…he came in and built with freshmen. They took their lumps for a few years, but he’s got a better foundation and this year’s team could make some noise. We built with several upperclassmen, and they’ve moved on and we’re back at square one starting year #3.
Losing Konan was a tough break, as no one saw his stock shooting up that quickly and being one and done for us. But it’s left us in a tough spot…really young (or at least lacking in NCAA experience), no bigs that are natural scorers, and not a good outside shooting team…it all makes us pretty easy to defend.

They’re not very good. These things aren't always accurate in retrospect, of course ... but the preseason MAAC coaches' poll saw Fairfield finishing 8th out of 13 teams in the vaunted MAAC.
Missing a ton of layups as well.FT shooting and D is awful tonight outside of a couple stretches
Making the free throws would be a good start.Again in the bonus early. Need to capitalize on it!
This is really ugly.I’ve advocated for shutting down the PSU football program, but they absolutely should shut down the men’s basketball program. It serves no purpose other than providing wins for other “schools”.
