The biggest news here is that Danny Manning is doing something. To have a former head coach, 15 year NBA vet, NCAA champion, all time great college player he seems to do absolutely nothing in recruiting or in the media. I realize he's old and this generation of players don't know who he is but it seems like he'd be best utilized in recruiting and explaining to kids who is, what he's done and why they should listen to him. This is the first time during his tenure I've heard of him recruiting.
The irony of him being deployed to recruit a 2025 kid isn't lost on me. There's about as much of a chance as this staff being here in 2025 as there is Manning landing a commitment from this kid.
