This is something that was very underappreciated about Leach. That methodic offense gave the D a lot of rest.
He knew it too. Everything was designed to allow you to compete when you often had less talented players.
He deserves the criticism, but there ain't a State coach since the days of Vaught that played games against OM teams of this quality.
