Now Bryce is starting to tick me off. :(

Week 1: 0 sacks
Week 2: 1 sack
Week 3: 1 sack
Week 4: 0 sacks
Week 5: 1 sack
Week 6: 0 sacks
Week 7: 1 sack
Week 8: 0 sacks (didn't play due to the hamstring injury)
Week 9: 0 sacks (didn't play due to the hamstring injury)
Week 10: 0 sacks (played 34 snaps, so he looks to be over the hamstring issue)
Week 11: 0 sacks
Week 12: 0 sacks

So the Niners have 5 games left (and a bye) for Huff to get 4 more sacks.

Bryce, Bryce, Bryce, coming up small once again. :(

Week 1: 0 sacks
Week 2: 1 sack
Week 3: 1 sack
Week 4: 0 sacks
Week 5: 1 sack
Week 6: 0 sacks
Week 7: 1 sack
Week 8: 0 sacks (didn't play due to the hamstring injury)
Week 9: 0 sacks (didn't play due to the hamstring injury)
Week 10: 0 sacks (played 34 snaps, so he looks to be over the hamstring issue)
Week 11: 0 sacks
Week 12: 0 sacks
Week 13: 0 sacks

So the Niners have a bye this coming weekend, and then 4 games left for Huff to get 4 more sacks.

do they sign Big Play Slay? Normally I'd say no, but the guy opposite Mitchell has been a trouble spot all year.

I didn't think the Birds would have much interest. Last season it was apparent that his skills had declined. And the Steelers seemed to have soured on him this season. That said, Jeff McLane (Philadelphia Inquirer beat writer, and very well sourced on the Birds) indicates that there was interest from the Birds and from Slay, but the waiver wire doesn't care about interest.

Betting line already moved 1/2 point from 3 to 2.5. That's a big move for a DT, which shows how important he is to the defense (not like I needed to tell anyone that).

This morning ESPN’s Get Up had a pretty brutal clip series on the Eagles O. I really do not understand the dysfunction I’m seeing. It’s not just the play calling, Hurts and his receivers are just not in sync. I really don’t get it.

after he moved from DT to matador vs the lions, i would expect the line to move the other way!

Yeah, well, do you think that maybe Carter was simply in too much pain against the Lions and Bears?
Wouldn't be a surprise. Carter was significant to the Eagles super bowl campaign (see last play in Rams game and SB vs KC). Injury would explain the sub standard play.

Hurts is the biggest issue, but the OC and HC share in the blame.
I'd lay more at the feet of the run game coordinator, he's the one designing the blocking schemes, and it seems to be theres one guy at least screwing everything up. If you go back and watch the first 3 runs vs the Bears, they went back more to their zone scheme and ditched their gap scheme , and off the top of my head, they average a little over 5 yrs on those plays . but yes Hurts has lived up to his name recently

Yes, all the players on offense simply forgot how to play in nine months….that makes much more sense.
its not like they forgot how to play, they just arent playing at the same level they did 9 months ago. No one on the OL is playing at a 2024 level. JH is not playing at a 24 level. SB is not playing at a 24 level. Different guys have different reasons. But it certainly isnt the play calling. How many fumbled snaps did they have on the 2024 tush push?

If that is the case, then the OC and HC need to step in and make changes.

And what has happened to the RPO? Simple but effective. I know they don't want to risk injury to Hurts, but at least call some more low risk runs to open up the RPO.

Maybe they’re not playing at the level because of the play calling. When there’s only one real change in a nine month period and things go to crap, it’s pretty easy to figure out what the cause is.

I agree with running RPO
