Yes, especially watching other matches this weekend
This is always my biggest argument for implementing passivity clocks in Folkstyle. It doesn't make sense for a guy who dominates ties for 6:30 to get dinged in the last :30 cause the other guy starts firing desperation shots.

Those were 2 quick stall calls, no.

Not at all, as time isn't an element in those calls. The NCAA tweaked the rules a few years ago, and instituted mandatory stall calls if you're not engaged with the other wrestler, and step off the mat (over the line) to avoid a takedown. CStar backed off in both cases, and wasn't engaged with Keckeisen when he did so, so the ref had no choice.

They cut away from Carter to show the president? So stupid and disrespectful. You could have showed the President at some other time. I don’t think it’s required to show him either way though who cares if he’s there.
No no you just don’t get it. He’s growing the sport and it’s not about him. Not even political. Carter is lucky to be in the same building!

That being said, Robinson just had 2 “rule book” stalls in SV and neither was called. So there is something to be said about the refs decision to call it, no?

I was looking for things to post, and only half watching the match, so I can't really speak as to whether the two situations should have been stall calls. Sorry

Well, Keckeisen crawled to get off the mat escaping a takedown.
