I thought I would give my annual NOVA Pick'em contest a try again this year. The activity on the C6 board has always been light, and with the switch to On3 I really have no idea how many of the old Prep posters have moved over. It doesn't appear to be many at this point in time but perhaps it will get better. It does take some time to prepare the spreads so they are at least somewhat accurate - some are usually way off early in the season - so I may choose not continue for the full season if we don't get at least 6-8 weekly participants. We'll have to see.
For those of you new to this contest I focus on the NOVA area, mostly Regions 6C and 6D with some from 6B. I will sometimes include teams from 5D and even an occasional game of interest from teams in the RVA or Beach areas. Please be aware that you are picking against the spread, not a straight pick'em winner.
Six of these games are on Thursday, 28 Aug so please have your picks in by 7 pm (next) Thursday.
