Happy to see Sanchez finish second. I know, it means nothing, but it makes the all-star game snub all that more hilarious.
I thought he deserved to win it. Skenes is a superb pitcher, but was in low-pressure situations on an awful team.
Sanchez became the ace on a playoff team and was immaculate down the stretch in pressure packed games.
Fixed. (I’m in a good, optimistic mood.)
Went to a Reds-Yankees game back in June. There was a guy wearing a Yankees #30 jersey with Skenes on the nameplate. Pretty funny (not for Pirates fans, I suppose).
Livy Dunne bought a place in Manhattan. There’s no way he doesn’t end up there or in LA. Her career will dictate that (and he’d be crazy to end that relationship).
Or Mets. Or Phillies. Let’s not kid ourselves. The Phillies are top 4 in payroll for 2025 and they are willing to spend. If Skenes was available to them and they had the chance to get him, it would be done yesterday. Skenes is legit #1 talent.
The voters got it right. The best pitcher in both leagues won. Thankfully, being on a successful team didn’t dictate the voting, as it shouldn’t.

Alright gang, I haven't been keeping up with this. How are we going to be next year? Thinking about flying up with a bunch of others from the DFW to see opening day since it is Rangers vs Phillies. I don't want to fly all the way up there and get blown out. Is it too early to tell or should be be decent next year?
