I bet that women would like those 15 seconds back.....she's getting hammered, and I'm seeing a lot of BS too. She didn't take the ball from the kid, the kids dad handed it to her after she confronted him. I would have told her to get lost, loose HR ball is free game. The guy didn't rip it from her hand either, he picked it up from the stands. Marlins and Phillies made it up to the kid, he got to shake hands with Bader and got a signed bat. That women will never live down those 15 seconds, but at least she didn't spit on the dad.
Pretty good YouTube video out of it. Father and son made out well giving in to Karen.
Karen demanding to have Bader's HR ball. I was thinking the same thing about the guy. Tell Karen to STFU and go back to her seat. Why cave to someone who is being such a beotch?? OTOH, maybe he was thinking it's a fun night out at the ballpark to celebrate a birthday. Why ruin it by creating a memory of arguing with a lunatic. The end result for the kid will be much more memorable.
Maybe Karen will track the kid down and demand to have the bat too. After all, he got it because of her.

Everyone has a camera. You never know if and how a situation might escalate.
Dad could have or should have told her to pound sand, but he also set a good example for his kid. Some things and people aren’t worth a fight. The Karen was one of them.
And the kid (thankfully) got a much better reward for being the bigger person.
These delicious, little subplots make September snoozers more interesting.
Does she live in Florida or did she make the trip south to watch the game?? I'd think if she lives in SEPA, it won't be pretty for her when she gets home.
