ugh, Dugan in to close out the game in the bottom of the 9th, and gives up a 1 out, 0-2 count, HR to Pages. It's the 1st HR he's allowed since being traded to the Fightins.

Duran gets the 2nd out (Conforto), and then walks Ohtani. Then on a 1-2 count to Betts, the home plate ump missed a 3rd strike (not even close), but Betts flied out on the nexts pitch.
So, we're going extra innings.

- Rojas pops to shallow LF, which Stott catches (infield fly rule was called); 2 outs
- Muncy swings on a 1-2 count; checks, and the 3rd base ump says he didn't swing (replay shows that he did). Then he grounds to Harper

On the broadcast they said there was a delay and the team plane didn't get to LA until 3:30AM local. So it was get to the hotel, try to sleep if you couldn't do it on the plane, then get to the stadium for the regular pre-game prep. Depends on what you mean by soft… Phils have two more vs LA and three in Arizona, two teams fighting for playoff berths and seeding. Brew Crew has final 6 with Padres and Reds, both fighting for playoffs and seeding
Makes sense for Kyle too. He stays in a hitter-friendly ballpark with a team that loves him. It’s a great spot to make his push for 500 HR.

How about the Fightins? They let the Dodgers tie it, 6-6, in the bottom of the 8th (poor relief pitching by Robertson). And then they score 3 runs in the top of the 9th. Duran now in to get the save.
