YUGE Dodgers win! Shut that crowd up in a hurry and sent them all home! I have no idea why Trienan was in. Just put Roki in at the beginning of the 9th and all this unnecessary drama is averted.

Look to clinch in Dodger Stadium!
As a non involved Pirates fan, this post is in poor taste.

So Ranger has been available in the pen for high leverage situations. Don't use him once and now Nola gets the start for game 3? What are we doing here? I'm sure he'll be thrilled entering a 4-0 deficit in the 3rd inning.

I still can't get over that bunt. Morning radio was blowing up on the way to work.
Rhea is SO ANGRY

He's not wrong.

“I wouldn’t say that it drains but it can definitely take you out of your center,” Castellanos added. “It’s super stimulating and euphoric if everything is going for us. But then it’s a very uphill climb when you can feel that everything is amplified negatively, like if you do something bad, you’re going to get a negative response. So, it makes it harder to play freely. If everything is going good, and we’re rolling, it’s a b---h to play here if you’re an opposing team because the environment is amazing. But if we roll into adversity and the tide shifts, we’re playing more tight because we don’t want to be reprimanded for something bad and playing becomes more difficult.”

Rhea is nothing more than a PSU hating Temple alum. I rarely listen to WIP, but had to this morning.
That horse face has always been a hater of PSU like all the Temple Alum people that pollute sports radio in Philly - I would add John Kincaid said the only happiness he had over the weekend was PSU losing - F them.

I never said I hated her, she's the hater. Go back and listen to her bash Joe Paterno ad nauseum. It was sickening. I left WIP for years after that.
She’s a Catholic school product with a son. I’m guessing she’s a bit sensitive to the whole issue.

The Phillies biggest weakness this season has been lack of offensive production against very good starters. Not that other teams don't also have problems vs the best starters, but the Phillies seem to go into total droughts. Get frustrated and over-swing. A ton of strike outs.

Ohtani, Snell, and now Yamamota -- bad row to face, and extra days off in this series would just mean the same gauntlet.

Seems likely the Phils season ends soon, but a comeback would be grreat to see.

Exactly right. Their chase rate and plate discipline have been bad for years, but their stars have produced enough at times to rise above that.

They just seem old and tired right now. Their nucleus of stars have done very little - especially Schwarber and Harper.

Missed this driving back from the game the other night. Was too sad to put on PGL when I got home.

So, Nola cruises through the second inning after a shaky first, gets pulled and Suarez gives up a homer to the nine hitter? If you are confident enough to start Nola, can’t he continue? Sorry if he’s hurt as I’m currently watching without sound.

wow, Harper with aggressive running (trying for 1st to 3rd on a grounder to center), and the throw to 3rd goes into the dugout, so Harper scores.

Then a sac fly by Marsh to deep left plates Bohm.
