Luzardo hits the lead off batter in bottom 5, then goes on to give up three hits before he's pulled, Kerkering comes in and gives up a bases loaded base hit. No lead is safe for the Phils. Mets send 10 men to the plate. It actually could have been worse. 5-2 bad guys. Phil's have just 3 runs on 11 hits.

Luzardo could have been tossed in the first inning with the Soto AB. At least the ump had some patience. Rob waited too long for the hook. Now Kerkering is an issue.

And the bullpen implodes again. This team is headed nowhere fast. They get swept tomorrow and then who knows?

The division is very far from over, but it may not matter with their bullpen.

I love the Phillies, but the Mets make us look like a very average baseball team. Its sad.

It looks like they're just going through the motions.....no life at all in this team.

The Phillies had to.come into NY and at least win one. This is real bad.

This team has no fire in it at all IMO. I believe that is because there is a milquetoast manager in the dugout. This guy has as much passion as a wet fart. This team needs a kick in the nuts, but even that isn’t going to get it done. Thomson operates on the “switch” being thrown and the team kicking it into gear. Well when the car’s engine is blown your only option is to push it!

This series showed something we all know. The Phillies are limited in their ability to score runs when Schwarber struggles. It shows us all a glimpse of what the future looks like if somebody steals him.

I think this roster has run its course. We are seeing that this year. Part of turning this over may be letting a guy like Schwarber walk.

They need payroll flexibility and have quite a few decisions to make on aging stars. And others like Casty and Nola aren’t movable due to being overpaid.

It’s a mess and feels like the time where Dombrowski exits stage right to avoid the cleanup.
