As I was watching some of the match yesterday, I had wondered if PSU had done enough to make it in this year. I though the schedule was tough enough that probably yes, but am glad to see the streak of always qualifying continue. Obviously as a seeded team, they got in comfortably.

I think the voters were being a little friendly to PSU given the streaks as evidenced by us hovering around #24/25 every week even when there were opportunities to drop us out. I think we were in good shape for the tournament and not really on the bubble, but it's going to take a pretty massive turnaround for this team to get past Texas in round 2.

I was hoping to get a 7 seed and if we got an 8 to avoid Texas but great job battling through the year to even make the tourney

Not a huge difference between the 8th seed and the 7th seed in the bracket they're in. The 8th seed would, if games go according to seed, play #1 seed Texas in R2. The 7th seed would, if games go according to seed, play #2 seed Stanford in R2.

In the latest AVCA ranking, Texas is #3, and Stanford is #5. PSU has a lot of talent on their roster, so anything is possible, but it would be a major upset if they were to beat either Texas or Stanford in R2.

Wow… so she is in a bad relationship, her coaches and teammates confront her about it and she bolts? The one article hints at even more activity. Sounds like a head case. WTF. Was this going on last year? Sounds like she ends up in Europe with Sid and make a lot of money.

Was at the match. 2nd set was brutal to watch. Still so inconsistent and there were stretches in the sets we won where we just looked very out of sorts. The good news is the service errors were way down as compared to many matches this season.

UT absolutely smoked Florida A&M, tomorrow night is going to be a very challenging one.

Not that I think things would have been significantly different against other #1s but I still think Texas was the worst possible draw for us
Proud of them for making the tournament and winning their opening match with all the chaos that occurred
Bounce back next year!
