Probably a closer by committee approach with Santillan, Barlow and Rogers getting the save opportunities. I like Brent Suter, though I think he is better off in middle relief with his durability. Oftentimes pitched multiple innings for the Reds last year. It won't be Ashcraft as much as he has struggled. I don't know why his name gets thrown about in the role as much as he has struggled and gets injured.

Amazon Prime has the season for 74.99. I canceled the $99 plan before they charged me tomorrow. Just FYI.

Hurtubise and Dunn made the Opening Day roster as a result of Hays going to the IL. Also, Fairchild is gone. Spencer Steer will be playing. Looking forward to Hays, Stephenson, Abbott and Lowder getting healthy.

Fairchild annoyed me, did he get released?

I'm excited to see what Francona does with this team. For the first time since Duaty Baker this team has an experienced, proven manager at the helm. Unless some bad injuries hit, I think they can be in contention all year.

First year that I don't live in the Cincinnati area. Felt really weird listening to the first inning on the way back home from work in Louisville, especially living in Cincy all my life so far.

Team is looking good so far. Happy that Francona is our coach....although I wanted him after Dusty got fired in 2013. I guess it's never too late. Go Reds!

Also, this is the first time since 2014 when the Reds season didn't start after another Calipari choke job. Glad those days are gone.

Francona must have accidentally grabbed the ole David Bell playbook for that one.

If he doesn’t have more faith in anyone else in that spot than Gibault then we’re hurting.

Long way to go yet.

Bit of a disappointing start to the Francona era. It's a small sample size though. Hoping to see a little more of the aggressiveness that has been this group's calling card for 2 seasons. We are one of two MLB teams that haven't attempted a steal.

Went back and looked at Cleveland's numbers during the end of Francona's time there and they were near the top of the league in steals, so I don't think it's a philosophical thing. Hopefully an anomaly.

My cable package doesn't include Fan Duel network so I guess no Reds for me anymore. Used to be FS Ohio then Bally Sports Ohio.

The cheapest method for in market fans if you have Amazon Prime, you can get an add-on through them. Or directly subscribing through Fan Duel but it would be higher that way.

A lot of us had to make changes to how we view TV. Have to get with the times and start streaming if you want to watch everything you once had. It may be inconvenient for some, but this is the way it is now.
