I'm rooting for Sabalenka in all honesty. I would have loved to seen Jess win a major--hopefully she still will.
Sabalenka's had an amazing year--if she does lose hopefully it's to a third different American in a final (and all four major this year as Anisimova beat her in the semis as well)
I just can't stand Osaka--I think she's supposed to be a great story but I just find her annoying.

Stayed up to watch the whole Osaka/Anisimova match. Good stuff.
I’ll say this about the final. They should hire a therapist to be on the court to provide counseling services during the match to these two because they both often look like they are about to completely snap. The winner will be the one that can control their emotions the best.

I think her intensity is to her own detriment. It’s a fine line between holding yourself to a high standard to win and self loathing. Both of these two seem way to intolerant of making a mistake.

I agree...Sabalenka expects to be perfect. She's improved over the years but it was really bad in the biggest spots this year. Especially against Gauff.

I just respect her consistency. 3 finals and a semi this year. I'll be happy for either in they win. Never would have predicted Anisimova to make two finals this year.

Alcaraz was great--the gap between the top 2 and everyone else is frightening in men's tennis right now
Barring injury or someone taking a huge leap it could be years of Sinner/Alcaraz. 7 straight titles. Only FAA stands in the way of 8 and he has to beat them both.

Yeah both of them looked like they were just hitting as hard an anyone I've seen and were not missing! No sure if Djoko was injured, but Alcaraz pushed him around like a rag doll.

Looking forward to seeing some hard hitting between Sabelenka and Anisimova. Pulling for Anisimova.

Sabalenka is honestly my favorite woman on the tour. Danielle Collins is second just because she truly hates everyone lol

Hoping we get about another 20 Sinner/Alcataz finals over the next decade. Nothing better than watching the best two go head to head for a major title.

I loved having the Big 3 dominate with Stan being a threat to upset them. I'd love Shelton or someone to step up and add that big outside threat that they want to avoid.

I think the biggest issue in the women's game other than the top 2 is the next group (including Gauff and Pejula) just lack consistency. Too many early exits from them. Anisimova might be the new 3rd best challenger that could be very consistent if she maintains the mental toughness needed.
Either way...it was a great year for the WTA especially the American women who were in every major final.

Men’s heyday IMO Edberg, Lendl, Becker, Agassi, Sampras (before he went on his run), Chang, Courier, tail end of McEnroe and even Connors and the French was wide open. Women’s even better - Graf, Seles, Navratilova, Sanchez Vicario, Sabatini, Capriati, Pierce, and into Davenport, Henin, Williams’, Hingis, etc. Just not a fan of so much dominance and really there isn’t a lot out there to challenge them. I do think Sinner is going to have problems - he’s very lanky and thin and tennis is grueling. Alcaraz too if he keeps it up - he’s so physical it will take a toll.
