I guess the hat snatching CEO loser, who grabbed a players hat as a souvenir away from a little boy, has given the boy the hat. He can give his half-hearted apology all he wants but damage done.

The guy really scraped the bottom of the “crappy excuses” barrel.

Well...looks like Fritz is going to lose yet again to Novak. Yet another disappointing US Open for the men.

Pegula had a dominant win today...tough matchup with Sabalenka who will be well rested.

He was getting bashed for the yacht because they used taxpayer money on the Bills stadium lol
Hopefully Jess puts up a good fight. I'm honestly happy with anyone other than Osaka winning at this point.
For the men, just give us Sinner-Alcaraz
Never mind the $500million he gave to the City to match Albany’s $500m to create the Buffalo Billion to revitalize Buffalo thru economic development. One this Oeguka has not done is fleece Buffalo like other owners.

Tough watching both (tennis & NFL) but Pegula-Sabalenka is a high quality match. Pegula down an early break in the third--really going to have to fight.
Just hoping Amanda wins the late night match

Tough break for Pegula - great match though. Have liked Anisimova for a while and she’s getting closer and closer…

I'm rooting for Sabalenka in all honesty. I would have loved to seen Jess win a major--hopefully she still will.
Sabalenka's had an amazing year--if she does lose hopefully it's to a third different American in a final (and all four major this year as Anisimova beat her in the semis as well)
I just can't stand Osaka--I think she's supposed to be a great story but I just find her annoying.

Anisimova scared me early--down a break and love-40. Nice job to hold serve then break.
Neither player looks great right now--especially after that great first match

What a finish…that last game had it all. Anisimova’s groundstrokes are so good when she’s on.
I went to bed after the second set tiebreaker. Great to see Anisimova perform well after the Wimbledon final. She's one of the few players that can match Sabalenka's power.

Hopefully the men's semis are as good as the women. Expecting Sinner to dominate. You just never know with Novak...he could surprise but guessing Carlos in 4.

I turned it off after the first set tie break and wish I hadn't; nothing against Osaka (who played very well and hit a ton of baseline shots that barely got the paint) but happy to see Anisimova get to another final. Have to hope she doesn't repeat her Wimbledon showing; will be a good match I think.

Also think we're due another Sinner/Alcaraz final (which will be wonderful) but praying Novak gets hammered first.

Stayed up to watch the whole Osaka/Anisimova match. Good stuff.
I’ll say this about the final. They should hire a therapist to be on the court to provide counseling services during the match to these two because they both often look like they are about to completely snap. The winner will be the one that can control their emotions the best.

Sabalenka's desire to win definitely creates moments where you think she may murder everyone

I think her intensity is to her own detriment. It’s a fine line between holding yourself to a high standard to win and self loathing. Both of these two seem way to intolerant of making a mistake.

I agree...Sabalenka expects to be perfect. She's improved over the years but it was really bad in the biggest spots this year. Especially against Gauff.

I just respect her consistency. 3 finals and a semi this year. I'll be happy for either in they win. Never would have predicted Anisimova to make two finals this year.

I’m pulling for Asimov because she’s from my area of Jersey. But I do enjoy watching Savalenka play. I won’t be upset if she wins.

Alcaraz was great--the gap between the top 2 and everyone else is frightening in men's tennis right now
Barring injury or someone taking a huge leap it could be years of Sinner/Alcaraz. 7 straight titles. Only FAA stands in the way of 8 and he has to beat them both.

Interested to see what the gap is between Sinner and Alcaraz on Sunday…he looks to be at another level to me right now.

FAA looked real good in the second--came away with the only break and blew another Love-40 chance at a break. FAA is running for his life though--can he maintain this level?

Yeah both of them looked like they were just hitting as hard an anyone I've seen and were not missing! No sure if Djoko was injured, but Alcaraz pushed him around like a rag doll.

Looking forward to seeing some hard hitting between Sabelenka and Anisimova. Pulling for Anisimova.

Women's doubles I thought we be more competitive. Dambrowski and Routliffe played to win while Siniakova and Townsend looked tenative.

I thought it was pretty competitive, but the winning team got those big breaks when it mattered (well, Townsend handed them a few with double faults in that final game).

Solid final performance by Amanda
Sabalenka deserved a major this year. 24-3 is absurd. Probably should have won 3.
She'll be out for blood next year.
