2025= WORSE than 2015. Fact.

2015 was the crumbling of the Spurrier empire and everyone kinda saw it coming. Walk on QB. Not a lot of NFL caliber talent. No preseason top 10 hype. Aftermath of so many USC legends leaving the program after the 2010-2013 run.

2025??? Heisman talk. Multiple NFL caliber players all over the roster. Trajectory was supposedly going up up up.

That 2015 team fought to the bitter end, and actually played #1 Clemson BETTER than the 2025 team played .500 Clemson. And was laughing on the sidelines and post-game about it.

Combine that with 2020 Covid season being a total asterisk anomaly, and the 2025 team, IMO, is our worst team in 20 years.

I agree. 2015 Citadel was a top 20 FCS playoff team. 2025 SC State was a good FCS team but not as good as 2015 Citadel. Had 2025 USC played a top 20 FCS team instead of SC State…..like Tennessee Tech or Mercer….theres a chance USC loses.
