Interesting. I saw over the weekend that he had stepped down. I think it was Willie that said that he already had a job lined up with another program. I knew about the OSU connection, and wondered if that was the landing spot, or if he was moving to another head coaching position.

Definitely feels a bit like Chip Kelly leaving top job at UCLA for OC job at OSU.

but he's buying talent its disingenuous to say other wise
Oklahoma State has made a significant financial commitment in the program since he got there for sure. But it's not the only reason they are making as many pick ups as they are. it's also, for better or worse, the way of college athletics in 2025. With all that said, it's still no guarantee to work out. We'll see what it looks like in the fall.

He’s certainly making the most of the “new coach bump”… we’ll see whether the bloom can stay on the rose long enough to have a roster that is equal to ours!

I think if he wasn't admitted, then he's still in the portal, though I'm not certain of that.

Given his academic path so far, his transcript could be a bit of a jigsaw puzzle for some schools to fit in. It’s not just grades and number of credits, but which courses is a big factor when transferring.

lol. But it’s UNC we are talking about. The school caught making fake classes to benefit athletes.

So because UNC committed academic fraud for athletes 15 to 30 years ago, they should just automatically admit any athlete wanting to transfer in today?

No, but UNC isn’t the most credible benchmark for academic standards for athletes.

Without seeing his transcript, can you say that Ferrari is a credible benchmark for a student athlete?

Two things I know.

1. Final grades were due at Cal Bakersfield on the 21st.
2. If Mineo said that the sun will rise in the east, there’s an 83% chance I’m looking west tomorrow.

I’m not arguing with you. Never did. Not sure why you’re so invested in this conversation. I don’t really care where he ends up or why.

Everyone is - including us !
To what degree? Ryder stays if money is no object. Sorry but you missed the point. The tboone Pickens endowment is bottomless. Can you say psu is the same?? Or operates that way? I suggest meritocracy occurs first then money. Not money first at psu

does Cannon really have eligibility remaining? I thought he said leaving NW (to go to Michigan) was the worst decision he ever made? … and here he goes again!

He’s gotta be like 175 by now. Close. Born Jan 27, 2000 according to his Meatchicken bio. 26+ at NCAA, whether he’s in it or not. Class of ‘19.

Yes, one season left at the age of 25.
