With the amount of $$$ it would likely take to get her we could get good players who can shoot from the outside, who can generate offense off the dribble, who can run the floor and who play defense. Blowing our wad on a player who stands on the block and looks for turnaround bunnies makes zero sense, we already have Ava who can do that along with all the other things.

She needs to go somewhere where she knows she'll be the focal point and centerpiece of the offense. She wouldn't with our team. Of course she's a great offensive scorer but it's just not a match with us.

I don't think it is that people don't recognize her talent, it is that people don't see the fit at Iowa. She struggles defensively and can't get up and down in transition. She is a good player and can score from deeper than our current posts but I don't see how you play Ava and her together and Ava should be our top priority.

I think he's implying is that all of their other good starters were transferring because they don't like playing in an offense that's 100% about feeding the post and watching her rack up huge stats, and that they'd prefer playing in a system that might let them use their talents to create some offense from the perimeter. Addy and Jada are really good players too.
Her career at DNHS:Do not see journey at the three- iffy outside shot, never saw her being a great dribbler. Emily however would be great there as has h as bales and will attack and get a shot off.

Looking from afar (I know nothing about the situation ), Avery Koenen of North Dakota State seems like she deserves a look; good student, good defense and she both scores and rebounds. Midwest kid as well with a year left so she will not interfere with recruiting. Does she have interest?
Her coach did her no favors by not helping her develop aspects of her game other than post, plow, turn, shoot bunny. He knew that's all she'd need to do to help them win games in the Big 12, but I have my doubts how she'll do at the next level. Won't work against WNBA bigs.
I was really hoping Bluder had signed Audi out of high school and I think she could be developed and utilized better at Iowa but at this point her transfer would disrupt the front court too much. PASS.

Here's the fun thing, you don't. Ava only plays like 25 min a game and Audi only plays like 25 minutes a game.
