This Sam Goin vs JD Perez match is wild. From 10-1 for perez, to Goin getting the takedown and 4 NF to make it 10-8 then perez immediately reversed him 59 make it 12-8
If goin can stay on top and erase the riding time he just made one heck of a comeback

That was a crazy match. Goin got a TD with 2 seconds to spare to eliminate riding time and was able to ride it out for a one point win. That was after he was thrown to his back about to start the match and looked like it was going to be 30 second pin.
Any reasonable estimate as to when we will see a PSU wrestler in this session? Trying to figure out if I have time to run an errand. I have some Iowa 2026 Big Ten Championship gear to take to the dump.
They gave Carter a 9 seed 2 years ago, so who knows what they will be thinking.

The math seeded Carter 7. NCAA Wrestling Committee then chose to punish Lewis and Griffith for Carter being unable to compete at B10s.
Guessing Ferrari will be #4 in the final coaches' poll behind Welsh, McEnelly, and Sinclair. Conway is the current 4 but lost at EIWAs ... and does anybody think the coaches would've put Ferrari behind him anyway? The 5-7 are all B10 guys (Allred, Mantanona, Fishback).
He'll also be 4th or 5th in Win %, and score well in Quality Wins. But no RPI and bad Conference Placement.
Without doing the seeding math, am guessing he'll be around 6-8, and then possibly bumped down like Carter was.

Byrd loses to Ayala. Can't finish better than 5th. Remember when people thought he should be the 1 seed because of last year despite not facing anyone this year over Blaze who beat all of these guys?

The NCAA Committee also punished Jason and Kemerer in 2018 after both made B10 semis. We'll see what they do this year. They're unpredictable.
Bouzakis held on I think with riding time and whatnot I saw 6-4 bouzakis. Peterson was in close but stuck with the reversal attempt. Bouzakis got hit for a locked hands but didn't care cause he just hung out there til the end ha
