FYI, the countdown clock just hit the 43-minute mark at 3:52 p.m. ET. That means we are looking at a 4:35 p.m. ET start.
I can't believe I'm responding to this ... but facts still matter a little.
Cassar weighed 228 at NCAAs. And then he competed at 97 kg / 213 lb freestyle. So nobody remembers how good he was on top at 240, because he never weighed that much.

My mistake El. I thought he weighed 240 at one time. I know he was freaking strong as an Ox. Me and my son watched him in the weight room during a practice a few years back. We have Brown coming in too who also needs to put on the weight. Think he’s going to be an outstanding HWT for us. Just won States here in Pa for his 2nd Title. Will see. Gonna be fun.

Period 1:
Time to lay everything on the line & accomplish the goal. We've got eight wrestlers competing for a title. Let's hope they all have the proper plan to get the job done! Here we go! Circling, tying up & hand fighting. Luke pushes forward a little. he drops to a leg but Volk fights him off. Luke reaches, but can't get there. Circling, tying up & hand fighting in the center. Luke drives forward & shoots. Volk gets a front headlock & takes Luke to the edge & out, restart. Clubs, hand fighting & collar ties. Volk works duble unders & takes Luke to the edge. Luke tries a throw by on the edge, but they go out of bounds, restart. Tying up & hand fighting again, 1-min left. Luke presses forward taking Volk to the edge. Volk circles back in. Volk looks for an underhook, but Luke fights out of it. More tying up & hard hand fighting to end the period. 0-0
Period 2:
Volk takes down. He tries to work up, but Luke holds him down. Volk hip heists & gets the escape, 1-0. Volk takes Luke to the edge & out, restart, 90-sec left. Volk throws in an underhook. Luke fights out of it. Luke pushes forward a bit. Volk is blocking everything Luke tries. Luke takes Volk to the edge. Volk circles back in & they work back to center. Luke picks an ankle. Volk rolls & gets a leg. Luke sprawls back & time expires without any scoring. 1-0 Volk, Luke +14-sec RT
Period 3:
Blood time for Volk before the start of the 3rd. It looks like a lip. Back to action. Luke takes down. Luke pops to his feet, but can't get hand control & Volk takes him out & into the lap of Shane Sparks & Tim Johnson. Luke is still down. He works to his feet, gets hand control & the escape, 1-1. Volk has 6-sec of riding time. Luke presses forward & shoots, but Volk circles away. Tying up & hand fighting in the center, 1-min left. Luke reaches for a leg, but can't get there. Luke shoots & gets in deep, but Volk counters & gets a leg. Luke rolls through. They're scrambling on the mat. Volk almost gets a neutral danger count. The end up with Volk locked around Luke's leg with Luke sprawled back. 1-1

I did let out a "let's go scooter" at the Princeton match. It wasn't a full throated effort, but loud enough for many around me to hear, and more than a couple snicker. So it's close enough to official.
I have to admit I was really hoping the review was going to award the Michigan heavyweight the point for interlocking just so I could watch the top of Manning's head explode.it doesn't take too much to get him red in the face.
Brands trained right up through the entire season. Hell, even Bailey looked in shape.
It depends on what other teams do. Take away our two lowest last year and we beat nebraska by 36.5 and they had the tournament of their lifetime
