Mesenbrink 3x champ and Levi 2x AA…. Atta boy Quint
He's there to hype OkSt. So far ESPN thought Valencia was SVN, didn't know how many titles MM has and claimed Levi is a 2x AA.

Once is a mistake, twice might be a mistake but three times? They're not being very subtle.

Does anyone think Max will attack more after the success he had in OT last match? He got to Rocco’s legs cleanly and was as close as you can get to a td after not attacking much at all in regulation

Was waiting for someone to go for a big move against Mitch. Not that it was likely to work but props to him for trying something different. Seemed to just piss Mitch off though.
What's impressive is after watching Penn State dominate the post season for 15 years TnT finally tried a different approach and a rested Iowa performed to something close to their potential. Then just to prove it wasn't a fluke, after 8 face stomping losses to Mitch TnT gave Caliendo at least a Hail Mary to throw instead of following the typical "keep working, he's stallin ref!" routine. Proving even the slowest will eventually learn from continuous beatings.

This match is the match. Rocco has something inside of him. 3 SV wins to make the finals a few years ago. Multiple SV or tie breaker victories over all the good guys this year. A gutsy come back over fishback. One more time Rocco.
I think Max will be coming, Rocco is going to have to score to win this one.

@GregPickel, can you check the NCAA Wrestling twitter account, or the Big Ten Wrestling twitter account? Both have tweets about Mitch, with the NCAA tweet showing video. Alas, both are telling me it's adult content (WTF?), so I can't post them. I'm hoping you can access them, and then post them.

Edit: nope

To be fair, pretty much all 330 of these guys are arrogant. You don’t become the best in the country being “aw, shucks, I don’t know” Some guys can just act with humility but they all like the smell of their own farts to some degree
Not that there is anything wrong with that, right? Asking for a friend. :ROFLMAO:

Max seems to be a pretty great counter attacker, so who knows.

I guess that answered my question. Quick td for Max. Hopefully that makes Rocco take a few chances
