This was the final I was most worried about. Max is damn good. Rocco has ice water in his veins though

After giving up a TD early in the match you can't wait until 45 seconds left to get serious about trying to score.

Welsh maybe should have been into desperate, super-aggressive mode a bit earlier.

Dang, Rocco. You danced far too long. Congratulations to McEnelly. He wrestled well and earned that match.
Rocco still has some OSU tendencies to work out. Another off-season in the room will (hopefully) fix that.
I mean scoring on McEnelly isn’t easy. Once he got that TD I knew it was pretty much over.

He sure does seems like a big 184.

It's crazy that Welsh won so many close matches this year. Not a sustainable style to win championships but every team needs guys who are guaranteed 2nd-4th place guys.
Of every kid that was up against a PSU guy I’m probably most happy for Max. Seems like a great kid and I like the way he competes
I’ll probably get hammered for this, and maybe it’s premature, but it doesn’t feel like we peak as well for NCAAs these past couple of years. As the team got more involved in freestyle with better results maybe.
I think 184 might be just as tough of a weight class as 133 . It is hard to beat that level of competition 10 out 10 .

I would love to know how many people on the board throwing criticism at all these wrestlers have actually been AA themselves.
