Volleyball classifications for the 2026 season have been released by the NSAA
CLASS A (Total Enrollment 850 or more)
Classes A and B shall be the 65 schools with the largest girls enrollment. 2026 is the first year of a two-year Class A classification period. All schools with a total enrollment of 850 or more will be placed into Class A, the remainder of the 65 schools will be placed into Class B. No more schools will be added to Class A in 2026 or 2027.

CLASS C1
After schools are placed into Classes A and B, the remaining Volleyball playing schools in the state are split evenly into Classes C1, C2, D1 and D2. The three-year enrollment average is the tie-breaker.
