My brother is kind of ticked off. He decided months ago to go to Clearwater for the 1st time, and take in spring training. So he picked this week, and locked in his flight and lodging. Long after making his arrangements, he learned that a huge number of Fightins would be participating in the World Baseball Classic.

Yeah, we did that a few years ago but we still had a great time at the ballpark in Clearwater along with enjoying the area.

According to this website (https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/rankings/_/year/2026/position/3b) the highest paid 3b for 2026 is Anthony Rendon with a payroll value of $38,571,432 while Bo Bichette has a higher total cash and luxury tax value of $42,000,000.

All positions, Juan Soto has a payroll value of $61,875,000.
