Thnx for the article. His choices looked like a classic 'Duke's Mixture' until I read the article. Young man seems very mature w/ a clear vision of what he's looking for in a college. Hope he likes the product on the court this winter.
What a joke amateur athletics has become.I am still getting used to the fact that these high school kids have agents.
I hope we get a verbal from Ethan Harris!Waukee Northwest 4 star forward Colin Rice is playing in the UAA Finals in Chicago.
His 4 top schools are Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and Northwestern.

I want Ethan Brown, too, but I like Ethan Harris A LOT better than Rice. Harris visiting end of the month--he's 3 in Mac's system. @Franisdaman (sorry I forgot to quote you!)
Ethan Harris
Do you mean Ethan Brown?
Iowa currently has 13 scholarship players. It would be interesting to see how the roughly $3.6M in revenue sharing will be split this season. And then add on top of that NIL payments. How much a player can earn is all part of the recruiting process, of course. And Ethan would be receiving free out of state tuition, too (what does that run now-a-days?).

Football sounds about right. At Iowa the women will probably get $1M and men's basketball $3M. Wrestling and baseball probably $400K a the rest will split the rest. After all, it is profit sharing $.
It is revenue sharing, womens basketball sold out every game, the men did not. Wonder who generated more revenue. For that matter wrestling sold out Carver but they have limited meets, so revenue would be less.If every other major school is paying between $3.50M and $3.60M to its MBB players from revenue sharing, not sure Ben would go for Iowa paying $3.0M because that would put him at a big disadvantage when it comes to building a roster.
I understand that Iowa WBB has had a lot of recent success but it's imperative that Iowa Football and Iowa MBB have the resources to be competitive and profitable. So, if the standard for MBB revenue sharing is $3.6M, I would think Iowa would be paying that to its MBB players.

Looks like he will be leaving the state. Hawks look to strike out on the top three prospects in 26. Diane will want a pot of cash.

Unless something changes, he's likely headed to Little Debbie.
