Meaning, BWI writers seem to engaged in hyperbole. Whether it about recruiting or about the potential of the roster. But I suppose that's what they're paid to do.

Ok. I thought it may have been in regards to something a member said. I didn't see anything that stood out which is why I asked.

In the last 2 days we've received 5 Predictions for LBs Alexander and Betton. I believe Betton was visiting today. The latest prediction for Betton was at 5:45pm, so it looks like things went well.

I see a subtle difference in the posted pictures with recruits. They mainly contain the assistant coaches who recruit the kids. I don't recall seeing that before. Campbell is in very few of them. I find that telling and refreshing. The new guy does not mind shining the spotlight on others.

I think he probably loves the bag of cash Georgia gave him - not any particular love for the bulldogs.
Yes, considering that when JF was fired, that was the first school that he jumped to visit, one would discern that it was a two horse race the whole time.

I don't think it's over by any stretch of the imagination. I mean yesterday we thought he might reclassify and sign next week, and now he's committed to UGA. We'll see what happens over the next 11 months...

The SEC has cash, yes, but they also haven't been particularly relevant in 5+ years. Except in their own dreams...

You're right. Back in September, it was obvious that that is where he was going to go. Good for him. I'll be interested to see how many places at which he ends up playing, because the odds that he stays at UGA his whole career aren't high.

Spell will probably change his mind several times before signing day. I would say the same thing if he announced he (re)committed to PSU today. It’s not over. It’s a long time until December, and the Adidas deal goes online in the summer giving us more NIL opportunities. And if all else fails, there are other really good in-state prospects as well.

Considering that about 3/4 of every recruting class probably will transfer, it's absurd to even think about high school recruits anymore. I hope that Campbell is able to retain a higher percentage of his recruting classes, but I expect that he won't be able to do that and will have to use the portal extensively, which actually may be a better course of action.

I would expect PSU will maintain contact and continue to pursue other RBs. There are plenty of RBs around the country. Not saying Spell isn't a special talent. it's simply there are plenty of excellent RBs who can play at a high enough level for PSU to have great success.

I'd rather have talented lineman that make holes that even I can gain 5 yards than a 5 star rb that has to fight his way every single play.

OL wearing bib overalls is a definite plus. This kid probably lives on a farm and wrestles hogs and bales hay all summer.
Slagle Farms & WinMor Farms on his X Homepage with a tractor at sunset, and repping 405lb squats plus the collars . Yeah Big Country on his way to State College.

Or, spell becomes the next DeAndre Swift, and plays in the NFL. The sour grapes posts on losing an in state five star are like death and taxes

I ve followed PSU since the mid 80's....for the most part they've always had top notch running backs. I don t expect that to change anytime soon. Spell will probably decommit one more time before signing in December.

It's not sour grapes from me because he was gone as early as September 2025.
