Update on 27 commit, Jada Seubert. Having a solid junior season. Averaging 24.5 points, 2.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. Solid swing guard with good range.
McCabe improved every year at Iowa. She extended her range and release time. Played much better defense this year. We obviously miss her in the rotation.
Been kind of quiet for Iowa among the top of the class.. here’s something.

Possibly.. but Kate and Nation follow each other on social media and Kate commented on her Instagram post a year ago when Iowa initially offered her. So a more public connection with Kate.
A couple of new names and some highly regarded youngsters. Riak visited in January, glad to see what looks like genuine interest from her in building a relationship with Iowa. She would be a huge get.

Gustafson around or not, you might be on to something. Jensen was in Vegas a few weeks ago for MG's bridal shower. And of course, both her and Bluder have attended Aces games, so I'm guessing they have probably been chatting with Nation Williams a bit here and there, if only in passing. Small relationships leading to bigger ones. That's how you get a player like her on an official visit. (!!)

On3 could sure do a much better job with their women's offer list. They only show three players on their list. They don't show Jada's commit or other offers to Altenberg, Manyawu, and Medeck. Others, I can't recall.

I think she is capable of being a good defender. She has nice quickness and is pretty long.
Reminds me a little of Lucy without the funky looking shot. I just loved Lucy

Good outside shooter, dribbles the ball too high. Maybe a 3 but not a two. Really like Mya Wilson as a three also.
I'm hoping for Manyawu as the 2027 PF although not sure about her perimeter game. Nation is a huge stretch.

I believe that Iowa will use the portal to supplement freshman recruiting not the other way around. Time will tell.
