I enjoy his content. Seems like a decent enough guy.I’m confused. I follow his page and he’s newish at it but he sure seems like he tries and is cognizant of what he’s doing. What am I missing?
Thought they were talking about Mineo. No opinion on the other guyI’m confused. I follow his page and he’s newish at it but he sure seems like he tries and is cognizant of what he’s doing. What am I missing?
Must’ve misssed his ridiculously unwarranted crash out during Brennans times here.I enjoy his content. Seems like a decent enough guy.
Mehh, I give him a pass on that crazy. It's his brother , as you know.Must’ve misssed his ridiculously unwarranted crash out during Brennans times here.
Dam right we need to get greedyGetting greedy, but I like it

Well, that's quite the diversity.Joe Bachmann 165/ maybe 157
Borge 149/ maybe 141
Paul Kenny 133
Amato 157
Youngblut 141/149
Fred Bachmann (hard to tell, Joe just grew and got big) 141-157 maybe?
Sean Kenny 125
But they have three time national champion tStevenson. Oh I guess it’s only two.Small school... small program... like Minnesota?
You're not missing anything. He does a great job at highlighting and hyping young wrestlers and giving them a spotlight that most the dipshits in these forums are to lazy to do... he also does a good job of mixing in some of the older wrestlers and keeps the young followers informed on some history and forgotten legends....I’m confused. I follow his page and he’s newish at it but he sure seems like he tries and is cognizant of what he’s doing. What am I missing?
See that's how it went down with the brothers. Apparently that's what Melvin Miller was not allowed to do. Family first, Bo, Miller? In a 4 year stretch, Iowa will likely have 6 sets of brothers on roster. Millers, Ayalas, Kennys, Bachmans, Kennedys, Voinovichs, and a bro/sister combo between the M?W teams.Damn! I guess their bros committed too!
Agree, but wasn't 1993 like Williams, McGinness, Whitmer, Ironside, Mena....which followed Zadick, Sharrat, McIravy.....Got to be one of the biggest recruting nights in Hawkeye history!
There were also rumors that he was feeding Mineo infoMust’ve misssed his ridiculously unwarranted crash out during Brennans times here.
You are a bit off on a bunch of those…Agree, but wasn't 1993 like Williams, McGinness, Whitmer, Ironside, Mena....which followed Zadick, Sharrat, McIravy.....
The Lee, Warner, Murin class was good. Cassioppi or no?
So was the Schwab, Zadick. TJ williams ?
and Gilliss, Fullhart, Juergens, Hand was in one of those classes too.
Bobby Duffy is ranked 11th at 144Recruiting Year, Weight Class Ranking Per Class

The 2028 class is as well... Bachman, Kennys, and little Mocco!!Sweet! The 2027 class is starting to look really really good!
That's exactly how they get to know things.I know I have jumped on @Gobblin a*s in the past but I'm glad he kept this quiet. And I know he would never steal a kids commitment. Just glad those who know things kept it quiet
Ahhh - the search for relevancyThey’ll be hurt by year 2 and will have to pay 500k to steal a stud from small school
I think everyone has noticed less information is getting out .That's exactly how they get to know things.

Top 5 titles for team and individual. I’m not delusional thinking Minnesota can compete with Penn state.Small school... small program... like Minnesota?
Now eliminate one wrestler and what do you have for the last 15 years? A big pile of not much. Though I really do like McEnelly. He's special.Top 5 titles for team and individual. I’m not delusional thinking Minnesota can compete with Penn state.
1 of 4 schools with multiple titles this century.
An Olympic Gold, does Iowa have any this century?
3 Hodges
(I use this century cause I was born in 90s)
Has little little mocco said were he was going? Or his leaning iowa? Probably be the same weight has his brother or can he be 97?The 2028 class is as well... Bachman, Kennys, and little Mocco!!
I accidentally got on the PSU board, and of coarse all they are saying is they will all be injured and burnt out soon, we only got them because PSU and Taylor didn’t want them, and this should secure 3-5th for us while they are here. Typical.Ahhh - the search for relevancy
Take away Lee and you have 0 Hodges and 1 national champ. Plus mad max is beating Angelo this year. Now eliminate one wrestler and what do you have for the last 15 years? A big pile of not much. Though I really do like McEnelly. He's special.

This is just untrue, lol, even if we're just limiting it to NCAA champs. Matt McDonough, Tony Ramos, Derek St. John, Cory Clark, and Stephen Buchanan all won titles in the last 15 years (and arguably Metcalf and Borschel depending on how you want to classify the 2010 NCAA championships.Take away Lee and you have 0 Hodges and 1 national champ. You have ONE relevant wrestler on your roster - ONE. I may make a case for your 141 lb but that's a stretch. Go homeTake away Lee and you have 0 Hodges and 1 national champ. Plus mad max is beating Angelo this year.

This is so great. The numbers simply don't lie. A certain group have been ridiculously negative about recruiting the past few years, without actually looking at the numbers. Other than PSU, there simply hasn't been another DI team recruiting and starting as many top 10 lb4lb guys that Iowa has since Kemerer.
Prior to Kemerer, Iowa believed more in quantity(many guys in the 20's to 50's range) vs. landing a couple top 10's every year. Obviously, the results are showing. Over time, along with some very solid use of the transfer portal, Iowa has done a pretty damn good job bringing in top talent every single year...just on the roster this year alone you have DeLuca, Ayala, Kennedy, Arnold, Ferrari, Ludington and Kueter as top 13 recruits, along with Block being just outside that.
Now, let's add in the transfers. Caliendo has been an incredible, long term transfer. Peterson, Bailey and Williams fill in giant needs with legit AA contenders. Then you add in a 3X DIII Champ. This year's team is stacked with talent and it looks like Iowa has sure done a TON to keep it that way for years to come.
Where are all the constant whiners now???
