I think we don't get in until next week if we keep winning. I would like to check what 16-21 did. They may drop back to take some of those spots.

Many times what you see with the poll is if a team loses mid-week but wins on the weekend, they don't drop a whole lot. I guess the pollsters have a short memory.

Too many teams ahead of us lost games this week for us to not rise at least 4 or 5 spots. Also, a 15-3 record is definately Top 25 material.

16. Pittsburgh (beat UConn and beat Louisville)
17. Gonzaga (beat St. Mary's, losing to San Diego early GO RPI GO)
18. BYU (beat Air Force, beat Colorado State)
19. Temple (beat Penn, beat UMass)
20. Georgia Tech (beat Duke, beat UNC) TOP 10 JUMP

Nothing really here.

#12 North Carolina lost twice, but they'll probably drop to 13.

They do have the 1-2 conf record and that hurts them, but the loss to TN shouldn't count against them. I wonder if the fact that our next game is on CBS will get us some votes via their marketing department.

No kidding. Not to mention Clemson was a major beatdown. Ridiculous.

They've lost six games already, including to the College of Charleston. They got absolutely hammered by Clemson on Wednesday and have lost to every decent team they've played. But since they are UNC, they'll probably drop about three spots and Clemson and Georgia Tech will rise to numbers 2 and 3.

Ole Miss lost on the road in overtime by two points to a top 10 team... they should not be penalized in the rankings for that effort. If they drop out it's due to a cumulative effect of the 1-2 conference record out the gates over the past 2 weeks. 1-2 looks way worse on paper than the quality of the play they have put on the court, much like UGA's record is misleading.

I think that when you win games on ESPN it carries some pull with the voters. And with Swat doing his thing we should be on primetime more. We should be 22. We beat UM while they where ranked and are 3-0 in a SEC.

If so, thankfully we wont play for a week, so we can enjoy it longer than 2-3 days. Correct me if I'm wrong but since the final poll of the 4 loss team, I dont think we have made it to the top 25 a single time in which we didnt lose the very next game to get knocked out. Seems like the Gordon, Delks Sophomore year we made it and went to Arkansas and got throttled, then the next year same thing, and then the opening game this year.

Rankings mean less in basketball than in any sport, but its the time of the year where we are playing for seeding. If you can break top 20 going into SEC tourney, then more than likely its a 6 seed at worse, and maybe playing for 3 as we did in 02 or 03

They beat UGA on the road. Then they play a top 10 team ON THE ROAD and lose IN OVERTIME.

That drops em?

So basically you think they should drop out of the rankings for winning a road game and losing a close game in overtime on the road to a team that was ranked much higher than them.

Makes total sense.

Those were two ACC games. They'll probably move up a couple of spots!

Ever think we would be rated ahead of UNC. Feels good if even for a week.
