You are more negative that I could ever be. There was also no 'if' with Jones to Ole Miss either. **** changes.

There is no "if" with Tunsil to Ole Miss.

All signs point to tomorrow being very good for MSU. Us landing Jones, Mix, Ross, and no one really knows with MacKenzie Alexnder. We shall see. My biggest fear is the staff doesn't have as good of a read on these guys as they think.

I dont know strat. I think the only people that know re: the Alexanders are coaches and the family. The Alexanders are obviously keeping everythign very close. Simply reading the tea leaves: (1) lots of chatter that they had "committed" during their OV and it was quickly dispelled, and (2) we are holding the Sills kid at bay.

I think Engie may have made this point in another thread, we make the most sense out of everyone if Mackenro is a sign and place. Mom and dad can make one trip to watch both kids play.

The steal of signing day will go to the Buzzards when they sign Dylan Bradley. When You ask most HS coaches who is the best defensive player they played they say Dylan not Jones. Tweener, Ha, ********--Football Player.

Now this is how you recruit. The johnnie rebs are using the auburn model and taking it a step further. I guess it is better to be on probation and not go to bowl games, but win during the regular season than it is to not cheat, lose, and not go to a bowl game. They are taking a calculated risk for a few years down the road when they are off probation and can tell recruits that they have a winning program.

Heard also about Bradley from a high school coach. Didn't honestly pay much attention to it at the time, but he said Bradley was for sure a game changer.

i'd be shocked if bradley put up better numbers than jones. jones also dominated all-star games with the best players in the country. so i find i damn hard to believe most HS coaches would say bradley is the best defensive player in the state.

and i was already defending bradley to those questioning him because of his size by pointing out elvis dumervill is only 5'11" and one fo the best pash rushing DEs in the NFL.

you can make the case that we should offer bradley without making an outlandish comment about him being better than jones.

Agreed. Bradley is a damn good football player and good get for USM, and I wish we would offer him. But saying he's better than Jones is ridiculous. Jones did not get his hype and star rating because of Yancy/Rosebowl or being from a big school or having measurables. He got it from being huge, fast, and dominating the best on the field.

Agree, Bradley had a nice game at the AL/MS all-star game BUT...

Jones was the best player on the field for AL or MS hands down. Now granted I only saw them play that one game but no way can I see Bradley being better than Jones.

get your panties out of A WAD. Just repeating what several Coaches that played both Houston and Noxubee said. Dylan Bradley's numbers were pretty dang Good. See what Gabe Myles said about Him and the Starkville Coach said in the CL that Dylan Bradley was the best Defensive player in the State.Dylan was double teamed on every play. Noxubee beat Houston pretty easily.

I talked to a guy involved with the MS/Ala game (he has been involved with it for 13 years now), and he said Jones is the most dominant player we (Ms.) have ever taken to the game. He said, "no one know this, but we had to make him sit out of practice one day, because we couldn't run a play with him in the game."
