The Iowa/Okie State dual needs to be nailed down.
I hope the Okie St/Iowa rivalry dual never ends. Maybe DT is trying to switch it over to a PSU/Okie St rivalry. Miss the Smith vs Brands feuds but the rivalry is still there historically. Hawks should see Nebby and Okie St twice this year with the national duals.
I'm sure he is up to it. Going to predict him national champion this year.
We probably wrestle a dual at Stanford and have Bellarmine at home, plus National Duals have to be added. Clowns and Okie State will be away. There are typically 7 home duals, it could be less than this, hopefully more than 5 home meets?
Okie State has confirmed the rivalry will continue and will wrestle Hawks this coming season.
The dual meet in Lincoln isn’t the biggest event of the season but my flag-flying Nebraska fan neighbor across the street is getting pretty cocky about football - and lately especially - about their wrestling team. A win at Lincoln in front of arena filled with a couple thousand of these arrogant blowhards is on the top of my wish list!
Were just a few hours north of there. Hopefully get there for some "Let's go Hawks" action.
Cocky Nebraska fans?? No way! Thinking of making the trip into enemy territory for that one.
OK state dual needs to happen. I'd also love to see an annual Iowa/mizzou dual for a number of reasons
Dresser did an interview on Flo, much of the talk was about the Iowa and Iowa State dual. One thing he said was that Connor Euton was ahead of Cali before he had a acl injury last year. I don't remember for sure but thought it was a tight match and Cali was ahead that whole match and opened it up a bit after Eutons injury.
He was up 5-4 when he took injury time. He also got the first takedown. Cali uncharacteristically didn’t finish his first two shots.
I thought Caliendo was the most improved from the beginning to the end of last season. He went up another a level last year, other than Messenbrink no one was going to beat him.
Mentioned on FRL this morning, Iowa will wrestle Utah Valley and Chattanooga in the Uncivil War this year.
Didnt get a chance to listen did they say were youd be able to watch or should I just assume UFC fight pass again

Really looking forward to the Minnesota dual. Mcenelly, Millard, Vombauer, Roberts, another year for KemDawg to work with Whiting. I am thinking 5-5 split, 2 very evenly matched squads!
I am a Minnesota fan but come on Gophers win at 184 maybe 141 and that’s about it
Looking forward to mcenally and Ferrari.
Mcenally is really good and I wouldn't bet against him but Ferrari will be a very tough out in Carver.
AF will be close with all tough kids. Not much activity and great D just like AJ. Don’t really see that improving much in the hawk room either. Don’t see him beating Mcenally but it will be close because of his style
He has more offense than his brothers. He actually took a lot of shots against Plott. Against Star may have only took one true shot but Star didn't take any and won on a counter. Him and Mcenally won't be a shootout, both are excellent counter attackers.
Biggest unanswered question I have about Angelo is his riding. AJ is able to win big matches by pairing his unbelievable defense with tough riding. Wonder if Angelo will be able to do the same?
We will see if AJ can still be as dominant with riding as a heavyweight. I’m more concerned with Angelo getting ridden by good wrestlers.
Meh. Angelo was able to get a legit escape against Starocci. Took him over a min, but he got away. Very, very few wrestlers managed to escape from Starocci when he commited to a rideout.
Besides, nobody at the weight is really jumping out at me as being known for their stellar top game. Am I forgetting about someone that may be concerning?
Maybe we could have the Iowa Duals in Carver again with Oklahoma, Missouri and UNI.
Just saw Chittum's transfer to Chattanooga is official.
Sincerely hope he does well back home. I know he gets a lot of flack on here, but he wrestles hard as hell and I appreciate that.
