It was in the early 90s and no, there weren’t. But I did work with a few Duke basketball players in the 90s and they were all engaging, intelligent, and polite. That is ok. Unlikely any unc athletes were in those clssses.
I agree that it seems like the sky is the limit. He does have a taller frame for a center, similar to Dawkins, but Dawkins was 305. I’m wondering if he’s gonna have to put on more like 15 to 20 pounds.Undersized but feet look good and he’s only a freshman. Getting 5-10 lbs heavier shouldn’t be a problem
How is Tengwall able to produce this much content this quickly? He’s doing a fabulous job over the last year, and we are very fortunate.

Bob are you really going to corrupt some college kid at the Scone table when we can just stick to Pop Tarts? He needs to hit the scone table. Or just frequent Irving’s.![]()

Alive over at the Den. I'm here every once and a while but checked out when posts went unmoderated about Tomlin. Since the sites merged, this board has become something I don't need to be a part of. Hope all is well. Packing to send my daughter back for her last semester today. Time truly flew by!Has anybody heard from @PSUJam recently? He’s usually a regular contributor here and I haven’t seen any posts in a while from him?

I'm not in the portal yet. Waiting for Tom McA to back up the Brinks Truck!Too bad. Love your humor.
They were always attached to the coach and not the team, but they were never allowed to leave until now so you didn't know it.It appears that college football is evolving into a new definition of team attached to the head coach rather than the school. You even see that with assistant coaches. Tennessee is becoming PSU West.
Good to hear from you. I understand. Take care of yourself.Alive over at the Den. I'm here every once in a while but checked out when posts went unmoderated about Tomlin. So how do you pronounce Ibn?The uniqueness of many of the new names on the team is off the charts - Brock from Brock is almost as good as Kuol Kuol. But in all seriousness this was a very good pickup solving one of the most important remaining needs. Love the team Campbell is putting together. We are not winning a natty next season but the team will be highly competitive and fascinating to see come together.

Curious to know what this means for Grunk.
There has not been an announcement that Grunk signed at VT. Does he return to PSU as the backup on 2026 and starter in 2027?I said it at the time, but I think it’s foolish to expect a player to be “guaranteed” a starting spot at a Power 4 team unless the guy is a proven stud. Grunk will likely need to earn his spot to start.
Future lock hall of famer Jason Kelce played at around 295. He was drafted at 280I agree that it seems like the sky is the limit. He does have a taller frame for a center, similar to Dawkins, but Dawkins was 305. I’m wondering if he’s gonna have to put on more like 15 to 20 pounds.
Apparently his dream school O$U didn’t offer him or offer him enough. So basically Tennessee is willing to shell out the most money for these guys. I predict Coleman will be back in the portal next year.
The volunteer Lions.Tennessee Nittanyteers? Did I do that right?
I thought that was the deal breaker, then he went on another visit to OSU, assuming a counterWhat about the Bentley? For f*ck’s sake.
Or they are following Knowles? Are we assuming they asked for more money than PSU was willing to pay them? Or is there evidence? Should we assume that all the Iowa St guys coming to PSU got paid the most from PSU and they are all money hungry? That seems a bit presumptuous, right? They are probably just following the coach that recruited them and coached them, Campbell, right? Maybe we, as a fanbase, should stop with the double standard and stop throwing stones in glass houses? So basically Tennessee is willing to shell out the most money for these guys. I predict Coleman will be back in the portal next year.
