Stay with the program. There will be no positive things to say about PSU and the coaching staff.
Actually it’s more like we don’t have to wait until Campbell coaches an actual game and the new players play any before concluding that everything is peaches and cream for many posters. I genuinely hope that’s true but call me old fashioned but I would like to see it first.

If true precisely what I did not want to see happen.
It is true. It’s being reported all over. The HC and QB are often package deals in the end. It makes sense. Becht knows Campbell’s offense and the qb coach, same with Grunk. It is what it is. I was hoping he’d go elsewhere, and now VT has a multi year starter.

Ultimately we have to trust that Campbell is selectively taking guys from ISU. Every coach knows who the guys on the team that are never going to be more than 3rd string or are a cancer.

When Franklin loses his first big game that gnawing feeling will return to all the Penn State transfers at VT. I should have stayed at Penn State.

Apparently, you just prefer to be gloomy. Who cares what Virginia Tech has to start next season?

I hope our fans are intelligent enough to realize success at VT in ACC would not necessarily equate to him having sustained success in B1G.

Wait, I am giving too much credit to some on here.

Reality is we will never know for sure.

Welp.... it is what it is.... it's an opinion board and people are free to express them. My grandfather always told me opinions are like aholes everyone's got one and they all stink. I agree with you we have no idea what PSU has for coaches and players until September. As do many college football programs. Until then there will be how bad the program coaches and players are and how good the program players and coaches are posts and arguments.... Me I will just sit back and chuckle at them knowing no one has a clue at this point either way. Almost like the Eagles fans screaming whether to sit the starters yesterday or play them. No one has any clue how the team will react to the rest and layoff until they play the 49ers yet they are going to light up the sports radio with their opinions and swear how correct they are with them...

You mean the coach that had Grunk put up better numbers (admittedly on a small sample size) than our new QB? Yeah why would he ever want to do that?
No, you're thinking of Terry Smith, the other guy was let go after Northwestern, I don't think he gets credit after that.
I think he means the coach that liked to use guys that are primarily pocket passers for his run/option run game. Jim something, can't remember his name.

I believe the majority here are awaiting results. What you are seeing is simply people looking at the situation through a positive light.

Exactly no one really knows until September at this point what PSU has for a team and coaches. For me it's refreshing to have someone new and different than Franklin. We knew what he was going to say all the time and his act had grown stale to many.

Grunk did not learn very much sitting behind Allar and watching him regress. He is a pocket passer, not a dual threat QB, and we have seen the idiotic attempts to fit a square peg in a round hole. His life, his career, Wish the kid success

When was Terry Smith the QB coach? Stop the BS.

You do? Wouldn’t that mean Franklin and VaTech would be successful too ?
