So glad he's on our side. Need to keep the pipeline flowing, he has way more studs coming.Man, KD is really cementing himself in the top tier of wrestling coaches.
All of them? I would go after Sanchez and Mills super hard. Burnett might be a bit behind them but he has ties to PSU through Blaze. I wonder if any of them will be able to stay in the 125 range. Mills is so young I assume he will grow a bit. Does anyone know if Ariah will follow his brothers? I think if I could only pick 1 it would be Sanchez. So which uncommitted lightweight are we going after? Keegan is obviously wherever Bo goes
Ariah Mills
Grey Burnett
Sammy Sanchez
Arseni Kikinou

That's a piss poor excuse. We are more important than they are.Pete has been busy. A recent pic

It really is amazing the quality of U17 wrestlers, both domestically and internationally. Some of my thoughts regarding the tournament so far:I know it has been posted in different ways and in different threads, but my God. A really good kid from just 10 years ago, let alone 20 or 30, would get chewed up and spit out by a similarly really good from today. There are a lot of young guys getting really good at younger ages.
just one of the many stupid rules in free!It really is amazing the quality of U17 wrestlers, both domestically and internationally. Some of my thoughts regarding the tournament so far:
-That 71 kg. bracket was loaded with hammers and Jayden making the Finals is impressive. The only UWW results I see for his Finals opponent is a silver at the 2023 U15 Asian Championships.
-Sanchez is quite impressive. He must have Desanto-esque grip strength to consistently be able to hit that outside single to dump. Not only is he excellent on his feet, but his par terre offense and defense is quite good
-Mills continues to impress. I, too, would love to see a match between Mills and Sanchez. Mills' quickness is so dangerous, especially in freestyle
-With Jayden, Mills and Sanchez, it is their quickness that makes them elite. They are able to create openings with their quickness that most other wrestlers can't
-The Finals at 65 kg. where Kikiniou lost on criteria 1-1 with both points coming via the passivity clock was very frustrating. I hate that in a match where no offensive points are scored, the passive wrestler who gets put on the clock first is ultimately rewarded for their initial passivity when their opponent is subsequently put on the clock and loses on criteria 1-1 via the last point scored. Fortunately this scenario doesn't occur often. That being said, Kikiniou did himself no favors by wrestling defensively. Also, the official did a very poor job by allowing the wrestlers to interlock fingers for most of the match.
These clubs come and go with elite in the moment talent. At the moment he certainly is the man.So glad he's on our side. Need to keep the pipeline flowing, he has way more studs coming.
Well, at least Pete has his priorities in order ...Pete has been busy. A recent pic

Since Cael arrived, the entire year is wrestling season.Where is Pete?
I think he posted he was going to have a busy summer but would be here by wrestling season.
It's so funny you should say that. I get asked a lot "what do you do in the summer when there isn't football or wrestling" to which I respond "there is never not football and wrestling."Since Cael arrived, the entire year is wrestling season.
It’s those wild coffee threads that really stretch you …It's so funny you should say that. I get asked a lot "what do you do in the summer when there isn't football or wrestling" to which I respond "there is never not football and wrestling."
