Edit:
@zzs006 I had not read your comments before my post, but it is obvious great minds think alike : )
I loved seeing Levi hit that first four on the edge when he was in danger of being pushed out. That position is historically one where it seems American wrestlers haven't fared well. You can see Levi's freestyle mat awareness/IQ improve nearly each match lately. Also, that second four Levi hit off his double was a beauty. Once again his positional awareness was impressive as he managed to not allow his opponent to counter the double for points of his own. Someone mentioned earlier how having a workout partner like Dake is so beneficial in sequences like that one. Having someone with Dake's knowledge and skills at NLWC is huge. Even if Dake has lost a step or two recently as a competitor, his presence in the room is invaluable, especially for someone like Levi, who is in the early stages of his freestyle career. I am so glad Kyle didn't follow David to Oklahoma State.
And finally, Levi only turned 21 in August. For comparison, Kyle will be 35 in February and David will be 35 in December. I am very excited to watch Levi's progression as his career unfolds. I think us fans are going to be blessed to watch Levi compete at a high level for many more years to come.
