Union has been underrated in these particular ratings all year long. There seems to be a false ceiling with the formula used because of the bias on out of state competition. Their power rating warranted a #2 seed in the playoffs in the West, yet the ratings have consistantly had them as the lowest of the 4 top seeds in the West..even after knocking 2 of the teams above them off. Not saying the ratings are no good, just saying maybe the formula needs tweaking...because obviously the Union rating has been off since week 1.

I like Gilliams ratings and they seem to be better than most but agree something needs to added into what seems like a pretty good formula. Union beat Richlands, is undefeated but has trailed Richlands by quite a bit in these ratings all season long.
