This does not look like a Langsford game to me at all. Totally different feel to it. Anyone think MR might have pulled his playcalling duties?
This has been a heck of a defensive effort.
For sure. With a solid defensive effort you can win these games that Tommy almost completely craps in..
Let it go,this anti Tommy crap is getting old,he is are best QB and he has alot of heart and fire, unless any of you have eligibility left, shut up!
Fyfe wasn't allowed to come in even to hand the ball off. Your last point is doubtful as well.Sorry buddy, but on this board everyone can voice their opinion. It is undeniable that Tommy has looked at least as bad today as Fyfe did against Purdue. The Purdue game was Fyfe's first start ever and Rutger's defense is even worse than Purdue's. In the Purdue game, the playbook was much bigger with all the short passes available. Fyfe throws incredible short passes. Tommy....not so much. If the defense had to respect the pass more, it would really open up the run. Is Tommy better right this instant.....possibly, but he has reached his ceiling and Fyfe could get much better with experience. All of this will be a moot point, as O'Brien becomes the starter in about 50 days.
Solid win, D played well much better then many games. Tommy a few bad plays but coache seem to be getting a rhythm. We will beat Iowa
