I thought it was interesting that there was a long stretch in the 2nd quarter when it looked like both coaches came to some gentelman's agreement to let the starters rest.
You saw a lot of guys getting big minutes early in the game that hadn't up to that point for both teams.
Then of course there was white flag time for the last 5 or 6 minutes, which is always fun. I never thought I'd see a game finish like that in this series. It seemed like it was going to be nip and tuck for 6 or 7 games.
The interesting thing to me was hearing the comments from the Grizzlies. It's almost as if they were finally feeling comfortable enough in their game plan to let loose, take chances, and play their normal basketball.
I really think they're going to close it out in San Antonio Wednesday. I don't know that the Spurs have anything else to throw at the Grizzlies, and the Grizzlies don't seem to think the Spurs can beat them right now.
Getting ahead of myself, I hope Denver pushes OKC to 6 or 7 games, but I hope OKC wins. I know OKC is the better team, but I think the Grizz match up better with OKC. If they go ahead and take care of the Spurs, I really think it's a toss up with OKC, and I may even say I'd expect them to take out OKC too.
