One national poll had Trump winning, but he didn't win the national vote as you well know. Several state polls had him winning this given states and those that didn't had the race within the margin.
Facts that are irrelevant to the discussion. We are talking about why polls are still quite accurate in context of the Presidents approval numbers. His having won in 2016 doesn't disprove that the final result was within the MoE of most polls and the polling averages.
