10-8: likely the 6-seed in Nashville
9-9: likely the 7-seed in Nashville

Worse than that, we likely fall to the 10-seed or worse.

We just have to figure out a way to win 2+ games in the next nine days, starting with LSU on Saturday.

too early to worried about what likely seeds are or could be... a good team would win all 3... but winning 2 is a must.

our most likely seed is probably the 7 or 8 seed. 6 seed is as likely as the 9th.

The Vandy win in College Station last night really helped us. Not only does it bring in a scenario in which we are ahead of A&M based on head-to-head (we'd likely have to win out), it brings in a scenario in which we lose a game and are still ahead of Kentucky with the same record, despite head-to-head:

I think we take care of business against LSU. Just a bad team that doesn’t shoot well, feels like a pretty good matchup for us. They lost a key player to injury in December and never really recovered from it. This would be a Q3 loss at home so definitely one we need to win.

We’re better than Texas, my concern in that game is they’re a desperate bubble team not unlike what we just saw against Oklahoma. They also have a fantastic freshman guard named Tre Johnson who is leading the SEC in scoring and can get hot in a hurry.

I like how we match up with Arkansas stylistically but they have been playing really well lately and that’s always a hostile environment. Also our inability to beat Calipari is a factor for me.

My only concern about any of these games is how our team plays. If we play like we should, we’ll go 3-0.
