3 observations...

1) MSU had the game (and defensive) momentum until #7 got the personl foul for hitting the LSU WR after the play was over.

Thats resulted in LSU mometum which lead to 3 points which lead to game, set, match. #7 should be forced to miss the next game for committing that idiocy.


2) Pass play on 1st & 5 deep in LSU's territory? If Mullen is an offensive genius, then he has been hiding it well the last 2 games.

3) The lateral pass is the most ignorant play in all of football, no matter the level.


To think MSU can make + yardage via lateral pass will LSU's closing speed is stupid beyond imagination.


The lateral pass is such a wasteful, igonrant play against SEC defenses, even LSU got thrown for a loss trying to run that ********.

that was the turning point in the game. Stuff them there and we get the ball in decent field postion with momentum. Wether ewe could have done anything with it is iffy though. Their D just dominated the game.

We didn't block anyone the second half. I really want to thank Miles for letting off the gas pedal. They could've beaten us worse.

but I agree, the playing from 1st and 5 on was atrocious. Line up and run it 4 straight times. It's like we forgot who we are.
