Our guys do not move an inch if that ball is headed at them. I love it.

Of course KB21 said this was cheating, so hopefully they don't go back and make us forfeit these games.

the way that we play is how they play in the Big Leagues. The difference is that the players at that level are good enough to prevent guys from taking extra bases and things like that. You're not going to take second on a guy like Ichiro very often though.

Now, in college you're not going to find guys like Ichiro very often, so you might as well take advantage of their weaknesses.

But I guess the guys in the Big Leagues don't know the right way to play the game eithe, at least according to KB21.

Remember the old baseball saying- if you play by the book, you won't win Championships. (OK, that's my saying)

if you play by Ron Polk's book, you won't win Championships.

Seriously though, I just love what I'm seeing out of our Cohen coached team. It's like he set up the pitching machine and aimed it directly at his players during Fall ball and made them run pole after pole if they flinched. It's almost comical we already have 14 HBP's and just by watching our plate appearances, I can see why. I don't think we're really even crowding the plate that badly, it's just that the players do not move an inch or flinch at all if the ball is remotely inside. I just love it. So refreshing to see this brand of baseball. I've also noticed we like to call timeout a lot, right as the pitcher is about to make his delivery. Mind games - another thing of beauty that Cohen has brought to the table.

Nichols St. has 3 runs in and a runner on 2nd and we're bringing in our 3rd pitcher of the inning with only 1 out. 7-4 Dogs now.

It's that simple. Polk would give pitchers (and hitters) for damn ever to work their way through slumps. Cohen will find out who can play and who can't, and the ones who can't won't last long.

****** pitchers. Suck a dick you smurf.

Way to stack us up with pitching Polk. If ole #1 was still in the dugout we MIGHT have won 2 games at this point. The bats are carrying the team right now. Let's hope they keep it up.

Busby was struggling with his location and they hit and runned us to death. I just hate the Polkster.

the thing i've noticed this year is that we're doing so much better on our runs to hits ratio. today we have 10 runs on 10 hits.

Busby is my biggest disappointment on the pitching staff.

And we NEED him to step up in the worst way.
