1) Start Hawkins in the place of Briscoe

2) Play Mulder serious minutes and let him make mistakes, he needs a longer leash

3) Give Winyard a shot to see what he can do, he literally couldn't be any worse than our bigs were last night

5) The most popular player on a football team is always the backup quarterback.

4) Accept that this team has a low ceiling
That is possible but there is also time left to try different things, we are lost right now. Cal may find a way for this team to turn the corner, he usually does.

Changes must be made though..

We were lost last night. Right before that, we knocked off UL and splattered Ole Miss.

I'm anxious to see how we perform in some upcoming road games. Alabama, Auburn, etc.

I though we would go about 5-4 on the road in the SEC. That's still on the table, but not the way we played last night.

7) Stop trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

This team has serious deficiencies and needs a make over. Play to it's strengths which imo is defense. IDK how to fix the offense. Maybe start bombing away ala the early Pitino teams? They had no inside game and just bombed. Of course we don't have those shooters. Would have to be a volume shooting deal.

I think Saturdays game could speak volumes in regards to the rest of league play. A very tough game in another tough environment with our Cats licking their wounds. Either fight or flight. Stay tuned.

Our best frontcourt players just aren't ballers.

We are a terrible free throw shooting team.

We don't have a rim protector.

We are forced to play Ulis too many minutes and he WILL wear down if he continues to play 38+ minutes a game.

We could get better and make a run in the tournament, but it's going to take a lot of luck this year to get past the sweet 16.

We do have some good shooters but the problem is they drive into traffic or hesitate. I would rather see Ulis/Murray/Hawk/Mulder take outside shots than I would having Briscoe drive to the basket.

We beat Louisville from the perimeter, Hawk, Ulis and Murray hit some big shots and carried the team.

Also when your hitting shots it opens things up for our bigs.

Agree on 1 and 3. Play Willis at SF and wear him out about defending better.

Trap pick and rolls more.

PT based purely on effort.

1. LSU was a bad matchup for us.. Their guards are 6'4, they're wings are long and they've got an absolute stud in Simmons. 2. We don't really have an identity. 3. Every time we get punched in the mouth we resort to forcing bad shots. 4 We can't handle physicality, we're not tough. 5 We can't hit free throws.
6 We have no one who can establish a low post game.
7 We have no enforcer inside.
8 We have players that can't shoot but play defense and players that can shoot but not D up.
9 The pressure keeps growing for these kids to live up to the expectations. For some their Draft stock is falling rapidly.
10. We've got a Coach that has to figure out away to overcome all these obstacles and get these guys drafted to make room for next years crop..
