I've said it before, except for that run in their conference tourney they didn't look right all year. I think their coach is ill-equipped and seems to be in a perpetual bad mood. They sure wasted four years with a generational talent.

The SEC Tournament was a miraculous fluke. And to think certain āexpertsā saw a deep run for this group.
When Mitchell retired, Elzy stepped into a bit of a mess, and it just got worse as their 2022 season evolved. Their 2022 roster was short, but quite athletic and now with these 3 ladies leaving along with POY Candidate Ryne Howard ā¦ā¦ it could be really devastating.
Their run through the SEC tournament, including their upset over SC was not a fluke; Hunt, Edwards and Howard were most formidable. Whatever internal issues with Elzy will probably never be disclosed.

And they are losing one of the best names in college sports - Treasure Hunt!
I watched the game last week against Princeton. It looked to me like the entire team was mad about something. Howard always seemed like a me-first type player. Of course Iām biased against UK so maybe it was just me.
RH should have played for us. Walz would have gotten more out of her. She seemed to coast in games at times. She never got to the sweet 16 at sUcK!!
The Kentucky fan base went from the euphoria of an SEC championship while beating the #1 team to having no players in less than two weeks. There has to be an amazing back story once it is known. Obviously, their coach was not loved in the locker room.Make it four ! Olivia Owens just hit the portal.
