Duke up 14-7 at halftime. The fact that the ACC had five teams tie for second place and has a tiebreaker that gave the championship game spot to the worst of those teams is completely idiotic. They should’ve made up a new tiebreaker on the spot if they had to in order to get Miami in the game. Now, as it stands, they will have neither their champion nor their best team in the playoff.

If this happens, the ACC will join the Big 10 on the "abolish conference championship games and expand the playoffs" bandwagon.

And this is on the same day that Alabama and BYU play their way out of the playoffs in a championship game.

I kind of feel if Duke wins Miami will get in but then if Duke wins that should insured two G5 teams. If so and the luck OLe MIss has had in scheduling, they will probably get one of the at home. ****

I believe the top five ranked conference champion get in. If correct and Duke wins there could be two G5. Not sure.

Duke looked worse than us against Texas trying to burn time in that last 2 minutes. Out of bounds to stop the clock, penalty, penalty, incomplete pass. Just horrid.

Wow Duke going for it on 4th down in OT - nothing to lose I guess.

then a personal foul on Virginia will back them up to start on the 40

Texas isn't getting in. Miami may......Bama would have to fall two spots to 11. BYU fall to 12. then Miami jump both to 10.
I think this will happen. I don’t think they will want to leave ACC completely out. And I get don’t unduly punish a team for losing a championship game. But those Bama & BYU losses were really really bad. How can you just ignore them?
