And of the top 50 offenses in the country we played only 4 of them including our bowl game.
A big statistical improvement, but we hardly played a schedule full of offensive juggernauts.
How did we do against any offense with a pulse?

Nebraska had a weak schedule and only played 3 decent teams.
Our schedule gets tougher next year. Add in a new QB, and I see an interesting season. Will we make a bowl game? I don't know.
At this point we can just pray that the coaches are recruiting like crazy and the players bust their asses in the weight room. And when Riley has some free time I hope he can look at his staff (including himself),roster and game tape and make choices that have the best interests of Nebraska football at heart, i.e. Read firing.
IMO, next year really depends on improvement on the Oline and whether Lee has the goods. Ziggy and Bryant are good enough to take advantage of better line play. I would think that Lee is a better QB than Fyfe. Ryker might have been able to do something yesterday had he not been running for his life every other play.
Does the 2018 team lose anyone (of significance) from the 2017 team? Other than DPE do we have any good/great Jr's?
